As you know, both the Australian and Indian governments are being positioned by US imperialism to serve its efforts to contain the rival imperialism of the Peoples Republic of China. These preparations for war threaten the peoples of our two countries. This, together with the intensification of the capitalist economic crisis in which both of our countries are embroiled, places more and more responsibility on our two Parties to learn from each other and to support each other in the spirit of proletarian internationalism.

 

The Indian working class and the broad masses of the people have a great history of fighting colonialism, neo-colonialism and imperialism. They have made major contributions to fighting revisionism and opportunism.

 

We sincerely wish you success in your 11th Congress.
